What are people's thoughts on this for just under £1k?

I'd be using it for XC plus light trails (no big drops), mostly 1 or 2 hours at a time, but might look to do a few "all day" trips with my mates.

Quite a few bits of kit are Giant's own, so it's hard to value the bike vs. parts, but it should be a very lightweight frame. I'm guessing if I added up all the components values up around half of the £900 odd is going on the frame. Brakes look a little entry level on a bike with an RRP of £1,300 (?) - and I notice they've been swapped to Shimano BRM395 on the 2013 bike.

Also - it /should/ be light - but I can't find anywhere a quoted weight (or any reviews).

So - any comments appreciated - esp. if you own (or have ridden) this bike.
