Hi all,

Eventually have my first road bike. Last year i asked for advice and the overwhelming theme was
1) Buy a triban3
2) Get a 2nd hand one on ebay.

I couldn't get a triban3 as they were all sold out so spent a few months bidding but not being drawn in to spending over budget (which was 550). The bike I got in the end was not one I'd read much about before but the spec looked good and won the auction (one of those that end at early on a Sunday morning!!!) and was well under budget.

Bike is Graham Weigh built for previous owner- as i bought it it had...
Tiagra groupset 9spd (triple)
Carbon fork (millenium ITM)
Chrina rigida wheels
Ultra gatorskin tyres
Selle Excalibur seat
Cane creek head set
Bontrager Bars

All i've added is exustar looks style pedals.

Due to injury couldn't ride for a while but have been out for first ride today. Took some getting used to riding a bike again but really enjoyed and am happy with my purchase. Found it very strange to not have my hands in perfect position for braking at all times but i'm sure i'll get used to it! My plan is to go out every day but not go over the top as yet...

Respected brand, nice bike and good spec, just goes to show what you can get if you look hard enough. :D
