In deepest Kent you can head to the Downs and find numerous steep lumps but nothing that resembles a continuous climb.

Coldharbour Lane out of Wye, looping round to White Hill into Challock, then up again to Westwell
    Road - '10 Giant Defy 3.5
    MTB - '05 Scott Yecora
    BMX - '04 Haro Nyquist R24 (don't judge me)

Lots of good stuff on your site, congratulations! I'm Sussex based, and know it well; the area around Lurgashall is my favourite. Next time you're down that way you should check out Bexley Hill and then maybe further south around Duncton and Graffham.
  • Another holy thread revival, having come across this thread while trying to google the longest categorised climb in the UK (I suspect Road To Hell at ~6.9 miles and Bealach na baa at ~6 miles are up there)...

Found another way up to the high point just north of Petersfield earlier this year, ~636 feet over ~4 miles.

Yad Moss in Upper Teesdale is the best part of 10 miles, but does have a couple of very short bits of downhill.

Pah! That's not a climb. It's a slope! My commute to work every morning has a 500ft climb at a hair over a mile long!

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.
