Expensive mistake

I have recently taken up road biking as I'm doing Paris to Nottingham for charity next Easter. I jumped in too quickly and purchased a Ribble Gran Fondo with Campag Veloce groupset and other well specced bits and bobs, the problem is although it's a cracking bike and very good looking I find the carbon fibre way too twitchy for me it's a very small frame 44cm so would suit a small person like myself if anyone is looking for a small carbon fibre road bike it cost me £1400 new and has been ridden twice so I would be looking for £1000.
In the meantime I've bought a Canyon Ultimate AL which comes specced with Shimano Ultegra Di2 and suits me just fine. Happy cycling everybody and if you're interested in my bike please drop me a PM.

This post belongs in the classifieds. I don't really understand how carbon would make a bike twitchy, however. Sounds like a set-up problem to me.0

Check the headset for play and also check stem size, sometimes you get a short stem with a small which may make it feel twitchy.0

The carbon fibre itself won't make it twitchy. The general geometry etc of the bike may well do.
I know I found my Trek Madone (aluminium) far more twitchy than my Scott CR1 (carbon)0
