Dual Lock Nuts on Specialized Sirrus

Sorry in advance if this is a daft question but...

I bought a second hand Specialized Sirrus recently and I got my first puncture. Had all the gear with me to change this but I hadn't noticed that the nuts on the wheels were different - apparently these are Dual Lock Nuts. Do I need a special tool to get these off or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance, feel a bit of a tool asking for help but struggling with this

    What is a Dual Lock Nut? Photo?
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
