Can I flip my handlebars

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Can I twist my handle bars around or will this weaken them? There is a line at the front which is obviously for lining. They are flat but the kink slightly back toward the frame. I wanted to spin it 90 dergees so there kinking upward

You can yes.....may not be too comfortable!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
