Can I flip my handlebars

Hi

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Can I twist my handle bars around or will this weaken them? There is a line at the front which is obviously for lining. They are flat but the kink slightly back toward the frame. I wanted to spin it 90 dergees so there kinking upward

    You can yes.....may not be too comfortable!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Not sure have bars with the wrong up an back sweeps will help....
