To sum up - it's gash.0

Poor fork, freewheel based drivetrain with limited gears, heavy steel parts. Not a good bike for going offroad.0

I'm in the same situation I want a bike for my wife but I doubt she will use it much, if at all..I'm guessing the wife's will use it maybe 2-3 times a month? she not going to be going fast or doing 6ft droppings. so I don't think we they will need the best quality components or bikes. rockrider 5.2 should do the job. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-52 ... 07349.html also you can use it has a pub bike for yourself. I couldn't justify spending more than £250 for a bike for the wife unless she started using it lot more oftenGT Avalanche 1.0 Disc 2011, Fixie, frankenbike0

The Rockrider is a better bike for sure. Nice drivetrain, lighter, some good parts - fork is still not good, but is better than the Suntour. Better bike all round.0

So to sum it up its worth spending a little more for this http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-53 ... 06682.html0

Absolutely. Damped fork, 27 gears, nice bike.0
