Noise when cornering

Been doing a lot of road work on my standard Voodoo Hoodoo in an attempt to shift some weight. When cornering at high speed and leaning the bike over there is a grinding noise a bit like a knife being sharpened on a stone. Is this the rotor flexing and grinding the pads? I should point out I am not using the brakes when this happens, and brakes and rotors are clean and free of grit and spokes are all tight. Any thoughts?

Probably just the forks flexing and the disc catching the pads or caliper, happens all the time on my bike. You probably only notice on the road because your cornering faster. As long as hub bearings are okay and no wobbly wheel I wouldnt worry about it forks are quite flexy.
