Where to watch tonight's stage in Paris?

I'm in Paris and am expecting huge crowds down there tonight. Anyone have any advice on where to get a good vantage point and/or what to avoid?

    Anywhere on the Champs Elysees. Get there at least 4 hours early and don't drink too much if you don't have someone to keep your place. People will try to shove in closer to the time so use sharp elbows and anglo-saxon as necessary. Good thing about the Champs-Elysees is that it has double barriers so yoru view down the road is not blocked by other spectators.
