I have noticed that my tyres have a couple of small nicks in them. I bought this bike second hand therefore im not sure what sort of miles is on them. Will they need replacing now or will I get some more miles out of them?

How small is small? 1mm, 5mm? If the tyre is bulging in the area of a nick, they need replacing. If you can see the inner tube through the nick, they need replacing. If you are getting an excessive number of punctures, they need replacing.
Personally I would buy a new pair of tyres now so that you have them to fit if your existing ones get worse.
What sort of riding are you doing? Racing, easy rides, commuting, city, country lanes?Summer - Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team

Probably about 1-2 mm in size. Im just doing some easy riding on them 40-50k a few days a week. Im leaning towards replacing them. Was thinking of conti GP 4000? From what ive read seem like a good tyre0

Anyone used the conti gatorskin tyres, was intrigued to find out more about them, in terms of durability and feel on the road.0

Would recommend both.Summer - Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team

You want the GP4000S not GP4000.0

I've just gone ahead and purchased the conti GP4000S' as my default triban 3 tyres keep picking up punctures. Hopefully these will do the trick!0
