Hi all,
I have been mountain biking for a number of years and now want to get a road bike, not got the biggest budget £600 - £700.
I was looking at a FOCUS Culebro 5.0 which seems to have OK kit and I also like the look of it.

anyone got any helpful ideas on whether it's any good or if there is anything better for the money.
Thanks

Alloy forks? Nah, you can get bikes with carbon forks for that price. Trek 1.2 for example - they've just announced the new models - as well as others.0

Boardman Race is also worth considering. Slightly better components, including carbon forks and mavic wheels. Can be had for just under £600 thanks to a 10% discount -

Sensa Romagna from Merlin Cycles is well worth a look at this price point...Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!0

CAAD8 - yes please. That's what I'd go for.0

I have a CAAD 8 SORA bike and for your price range it is an excellent buy!
Obviously as you progress you will look to get a lighter bike but it is an excellent bike for the price.0 -

The Trek 1.1 has 2400 (Claris), the Trek 1.2 has Sora.0 -

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0
