After a long time not riding im looking for a hardtail - ideally i want something that will be fun, reasonably light, and fine for anything from trail centres to towpaths with my 6 year old.

Im 6' 3" so sixing on some is a concern, so far ive been thinking of either a Stanton Slackline Cotic BFE or a Production Privee Shan and would welcome any views on them.

Thanks.

Style of riding, budget, trail centres can be done on a 100mm XC HT without problem.....but if you ride more aggresively you'll want more travel and a slacker geo.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

First post on this forum, but I have just brought a Ragley Piglet 2 after finally getting rid of my Cove Stiffee,I cant fault it, build quality seems excellent compared to the first model. Running fox Talas 140mm with lower internal headset, seems spot on for trails, towpaths, etc. Ohh forgot to mention I am 6"3 running a 20" frame
