Hi All,

After much searching I have come to the conclusion that the above bike isn't available in a 26er version only 29er. I have therefore decided to get a 29er, I've tried the 26er Cube Acid and that fits fine (20" frame). But I haven't tried a 29er and am unsure whether to go for a 19" frame or 21" frame. I'm 6ft 2in tall with an inside leg of 32".

Could someone help, as there isn't one in stock locally to try.

Thanks in advance.

    Compare the top tubes lengths.

    Hi Supersonic,

I've had a quick look and theres only 2-3 cm difference, the problem is I can't find anything that shows the length ground to seat. I appreciate that people have seats at different heights but it would be useful if they showed a minimum and maximum length.

I'm 5 9 with an inside leg of around 30, and have a LTD SL 29er. I went for the 19" frame, my tackle is touching the bar when I stand but that doesn't matter much, the bike feels the right size. The 17" I tried only felt small as when turning tight, my elbows were digging in to my side a bit, the fitter guy noticed that too. It may just be exaggerated because of the relatively wide bar though. My seat looks a little lower that average. I did change my bar to a slightly narrower low riser. The big flat bar had mega control but after 30 mins my thumbs were killing me. Cubes size chart might help a bit, but it shows a 19 should be too big for me!

Same as Plasma_man, I'm 5'9" and ride a 19" sl29. Fits perfectly, but you need to try at least one of them out if you can!

Spoke to supplier on the phone and he recommended the 21" based on my size as apparently one of the staff in the shop is a similar size and he finds the 19 a little on the small size. Also popped into Halfords and the sales assistant there also recommended a 21" frame so I've taken the plunge. Can't wait for it to be delivered now - bet weaher changes now
