New and old Campagnolo 10 speed groupset compatibility?
Hey gang,
I've a quick question that I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with. I'm building up a frame and have been busy buying parts. One of the things I've ordered from an Ebay seller is a lightly used 2013 Centaur rear mech.
I'm looking for some 10 speed shifters to go with it and have come across some older 10 speed shifters from groupset collections higher up than Centaur. For instance ~2003 Record and ~2009 Chorus. Does anyone know whether these might work well together?
Also would a new 11 speed Athena front mech work with the above too?
Thank you!

Yes, the rear mechs all work in my experience (despite what the tech docs say). Front mechs are a bit trickier, but if your go for Record or Chorus shifter with micro-ratchet they will work with virtually any front mech.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
