But now everything hurts :shock:
I had the genius (?) idea of having another crack at a hill I'd done on a Sportive not far from me. Rode 28 miles to the hill in question, up and over it in less installments than I'd needed before, then the return leg. I hadn't ridden this bit before, it was torture. I had somehow picked some of the steepest climbs that I had to get over to get home.... into a headwind

But I'm still alive, completely knackered but feeling a bit proud of myself too

On my first century the sportive organisers had saved a mountain pass for the final 10 miles, I was already knackered after doing 50 miles. It was really tough, but I felt like I'd just won a Tour stage when I came through the finish!0 -
