Hi all,
I want to buy a new front derailleur to replace my SRAM x7 (currently have a Shimano SLX hollowtech II crank, SRAM x7 shifters and SRAM x9 rear derailleur)
Can I go Shimano or will it not be compat with my SRAM shifter?
cheers

    Front mechs work with either.
But I would only change it if it's broken - not really an upgrade. Front mechs are all nasty clunky things.

    thanks for the reply..
Mine isn't very accurate when shifting up - it seems to shift too far and I can hear the chain rubbing on it slightly.
I guess I just need to find out how to fine tune it

Er yes, buying new stuff doesn't help if it's not adjusted properly.
