Im struggling to find spares for my old american classic sprint 350 wheels. One of the bearings on the free hub disintegrated and has damaged the axle. Im looking a new 17mm axle and shimano 10 speed feehub body.

So far I can only find two places in the UK that supposedly stock spares and they are out of stock. GRRRRRRRRR

Does anyone know of a dealer of spares in the UK or any experience ordering from American Classic direct from the USofA.

Cheers

My LBS sells the wheels and were able to get spares for me and fix them within 3 days.

This leads me to believe that any LBS that sells the wheels should be able to do the same.

AC hubs are often used in wheel builds too, so the stock must be available easily enough.

Of all the factory wheels out there I have found AC to be the best in terms of this. Add that to the fact that they normally use j-spokes in their wheels and essentially they are like hand built wheels.

Big thumbs up to AC. Just do not break a rim - they do not sell those separately
