Right so come to the conclusion I need some new pads for my Avid elixir R brakes, worked out that I could do with using sintered pads but my question is what brand do I go for? As reading the reviews and im not getting anywhere!!
Looked a superstar, nukeproof, goodride and a few others but cant decided, what would you guys recommend?

I use SS, as do most other people I ride with. They are cheap, they work, I like Haribo.I don't do smileys.

I've used the Superstar, Avid, Hope, Shimano, Clarks, Uberbike, Goodridge, A2Z and Formula sintered pads and TBH when they're bedded in properly they all work well so I just buy the Superstar's since they are the cheapest and that little bit of Haribo is always nice.0

+1 best of both (organic/sintered) worlds, bad enough changing tyres for weather without changing pads as well!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
