It ruins spoiler threads at busy times because you have to preview other peoples' post 5 or 6 times before you can post your own.

Is it not possible to turn it off under individual preferences? It is rather a bother.0

OTOH, if everyone's posts you get to see then, are saying what you're saying, there's no point in saying.

Its horrendous and the most pointless annoying forum tool ever.0

6 months ago admin could change anything on the whole forum. Even shut it down. We no longer can.
I do know the developers for the site are flat out on something so it's not going to change any time soon.
In the meantime, see it as a Western style quick draw....0 -

It is very annoying and at times I have posted a comment thinking its done and switched screens at work only to find next time I switch over its still sitting there asking if I am sure I want to post!
By this time the comment is null and void.

Rick, I know we've spoken privately about this, so I am loathe to bend your ear about this again. However, given how much this feature irritates the user base, is there no way you can push that up to the developers and ask them to make it optional if it can't be removed all together? It is exceptionally irritating...0 -
Nope.
You'll be pleased to know my opinion counts for nothing.
Start a thread in the discuss the website bit.
It's a problem exclusive to pro race who are the only ones who post time sensitive stuff.0 -
It's ridiculous, don't the developers realise that only my comments matter and anything anyone else may have said in the mean time is of no importance whatsoever.0
-
I think this is powered by phpBB, it's either an option you can turn on or off. I doubt there's been much in the way of customisation for the forums bar the templates.0

Any chance of some reasoning for the decision? It really does drive people loopy. It also lowers the quality of posts, as the single easiest way of making sure your post is submitted is to make it exceptionally short.
I understand it's only a problem in one small part of the forum. It's just that it's a part of the forum I spend quite a lot of time on.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
