Hi folks,
Anyone got experience of this carrier?
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165477
It's mainly for 2/3 adult trail (not downhill) bikes but will find occasional use for family with 3 adult 1 child bikes.
Seems reasonably priced compared to the Thule 4 bike effort.
Thanks in advance.

Not used one of those so can't give an opinion, however I do have a Buzzrack for 3 bikes which is great and very easy to use.
There is this one if you want to save a few quid

Thanks Windy,
Oddly enough I was just on that site and buzz quatro caught my eye.

Seems another option. Does the one you linked come on/off easily? My good lady will be using it when I'm not about and it'd be better if she can manage without much assistance?0 -
The Quattro would be the better choice as the clamps are easy to use and also they have locks on them too.
They are very easy to put on, you just hook the clamp over the towball and pull up the lever on the rack to lock it on, the racks themselves weight around 20kgs, my wife can fit it and fits the bikes on fine without my help.0 -
Went a bit over budget and got this with 4th bike adaptor:
