Chinese Road (FM028) Aero Road (FM098)

I have been looking at Deng Fu carbon frames and like the look of both the
FM028
and FM098
The 028 can get away with any racing wheels but the 098, with the aero frame, looks a little off without deep rims. I have 32mm clinchers on my CX bike and like deep(ish) rims.
I am swaying towards the 098 just because it looks so much better but it will need deep chinese rims.
Outside of the obvious CCCF any advice or opinions?

I would get the Ribble R872 over either of those.

WTF is up with the handlebars on the top one - is it ridden by an Uran Utang?
Bear in mind aero frames and seatposts generally mean a firmer ride - combined with deep rim wheels, expect a fair bit of 'feedback' from the roadMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -
Buy what YOU like , i have bought 3 chinese frames and 2 sets of wheels from china and never had a problem, Still have them all and going on 3 years. Must say i like the look of the FM098 sexy as feck.Keep the chain tight all the way.0

It depends what type of riding or set up you want.. FM028 is a bit more relaxed geometry wise. FM098 is a bit more race orientated in terms of geometry. TBH if you are going to race it, I'd go FM015, cheap, stiff, light-ish and an agrgressive geometry - that's what I ride/race anyway0

We had to similar choice, ending up with the fm098. Not regretting this so far, indeed a stiff frame and very responsive. Small impression on http://www.evert.it0

You know the ribble frame is made in land of carbon fibre too and is I think an open mould frame. In short buy what you like but as you have picked two very different frame I would wager you are not sure what you want. First sort that out and buy a frame appropriate for you. Just look at the headtube length it kind of tell you what sort of position you will end up having.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
