Good afternoon. Lidl have got workstands on sale for 30 quid. Anyone got a view on whether these are any good?

They are great - they've been discussed on here, Beginners and Buying sections so a Search on any will show you why.0

I have one from their previous offer and it looks the same.
Its pretty solid after a year or so and provides a steady platform.
The feet can be a bit awkward to expand leading to very occasional trapped fingers - maybe just me.
I don't know if other stands do it but the lidl one won't allow you to support the bike with the wheel(s) on the ground.
I would find that useful0 -
Got mine the other day and love it. Only thing is for some reason the tool platform wasn't in the box and they have already sold out, would rather keep it despite this though.2013 Canyon Ultimate AL 7.0

A near identical stand is available on Amazon all year round for less than £5 more.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I bought a Lidl workstand a couple of years ago and it's been fine.
It isn't some kind of A grade engineering item, it's very basic but makes all kinds of basic tasks (like gear adjusting) easier0
