I'm potentially interested in getting one of these but have not found any independent reviews, so am hoping I can get some info from any existing owners.
Trying to find out what it rides like, what you had before to compare it to, your height/weight and what size you went for etc etc.
Cheers,
Greg

Yes also interested to hear from owners, so speak up! Having seen them in the flesh they look fantastic for the money. I just want to hear from people who have ridden them for a bit and can speak from experience.Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!0

This probably isn't very useful but I have an RT-57 which I've had for 4 months or so and I think (although it's hard to work out) that the RT-58 is the successor to the RT-57.
I don't really have anything to compare against as I've only recently come to road bikes from MTBing but for me it's perfect. I have the full SRAM Force package with 53/39 and 11-25 which is a great setup for me for rides up to 5 hours in moderately hilly areas (Surrey Hills, North and South Downs and everywhere in between). I'm 183cm and 77kg and went for the medium (54cm) frame which fits me - it might be a little small for others of my height but coming from an MTB background I prefer a more compact cockpit.
With a carbon seatpost it rides ok over our crappy roads but it's always going to be a pretty stiff ride. It climbs like a goat and handles well on technical (by road standards) downhills.
Only niggle is that the BB has gone a bit creaky over the last couple of days - could just be a chainring bolt or something, or the cranks need tightening up.0 -
I'm no expert on their bikes but I believe the 58 is different geometry to the 57 and not a replacement. Their website says:
Our brand new performance Sportive frame. Specifically designed for riders wanting performance but with super long day comfort.0 -
Yes I believe it has slightly lower BB, longer chain stays and the seat stays are far thinner than the rt 57 making it an lot more compliant. Be good to hear if people find that this is true, and that it hopefully doesn't compromise the chassis and flex?Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!0
