Been looking at a second hand raleigh and the bike has had a full respray.

The new owner doesnt know what the exact model is, only that it is a raleigh.

He thinks that it is a Raleigh Titanium due to the geometry and the cable mounts

Is there anyway i can identify it

    I doubt it's titanium.

It's not a great photo - but the blue and the shape of the tubing actually remind me of a Ribble winter trainer.
  • sorry, i forgot to mention that it had a full respray

The cable mounts just at the bottom of the headset and the fat down tube.

No other raleighs i’ve seen have this feature

The fat down tube suggests that it's not titanium to me, more likely some aluminium frame.

It does look like the Ribble doesn't it! I think the top tube might be a bit slim for that though.

A frame number will determine if it is a Raleigh or not.
    Faster than a tent.......
