I live in Milton Keynes, and I have a day off booked all to myself at the end of July. I'm planning a long (!00+ miles) ride out. Any good ideas?
Cheers

Ride to Henley on Thames, Team MK did that route last weekend.
Its a great route and just over 100 there and back.0 -

You could do 40 laps of Willen lake, but that'd be plain silly :-)0

I was vaguely tempted to get an early train up to whitehaven, and do the coast to coast!Insert bike here:0

Hello fellow MK roadie.
I would head north from MK to Roads, across to Silverstone, Out west towards Bicester and swing into Winslow via the Claydons. Stop for something at Jenny Wrens in Winslow... They even sell tubes should you need! Back out from Winslow via the Claydons towards Waddeson, then Waddeson to Whit church, then towards Leighton and back towards MK.0 -
How long would it take to ride the grid system and spell out 'Tour De France' on Strava?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Another MK rider here.
Another option would be to have a gander online for the evansMKsportive 90mile route then just add on a little extra should you wish.0 -
bit of a serperate subject but I'm moving over to MK from Bicester next month, can anyone recommend any clubs? thinking of getting into racing but mostly just want to do some long, fast club runs0

Hi Chris,
Team MK are your best bet. They meet on Stony high street on a Saturday morning. Twenty3c also do club rides, as do Team Corley Cycles.
