Completed the Isle of Man Lighthouses Challenge today.

Just over 100 miles, 2,265m of climbing, with a moving time of 6:28.

Did a few training rides around the 75-80mile mark, but saved the century for this.

Pretty happy with that tbh, was aiming for a sub 6hr time, but the heat got the better of me (never thought I'd be saying that here).

It was a superb event, really well run and loads of fun. Absolutely going for a sub-5:30 next year though

Just to top it off, I have raised over £500 for The Cardiomyopathy association by doing it (if anyone else wants to donate, it's an awesome cause and will of course be gratefully received).

Brilliant - that looks like a great ride - and what a day to do it on.

But why are there lighthouses on the IoM - I thought nobody wanted to go there let alone sail a ship close to it
