Hi guys.
I was out on a ride this morning when after about 20 or so miles I get that horrible feeling I've got a puncture. I stopped to check and sure enough flat as a pancake. Being a bit of an idiot I didn't remember to take any sealant with me so had to call my better half to come and get me. She brought the track pump with her and just for the hell of it I put some air in and weirdly enough it stayed pumped up and still hasn't lost any air two hours later. This has never happened to me before and in a way I would have preferred a puncture so at least I would know the cause of the air loss.
Anyone had a similar thing happen or got some advice as to prevent it happening again. Thanks.

assuming it's not a valve/extender problem, probably a small puncture, if the tube shifts wrt the casing it might slow the rate of leakage

keeping it on the wheel, pump it up to maximum pressure then dunk in the bath and carefully go around the circumference looking for a leak, i've had a slow puncture where there was only one tiny bubble every 10-15 seconds

once you know where it is you can squirt in some sealant to cover it, such a small leak should seal well
