kona unit ss

Im thinking about getting a kona unit next month when I renew my Cycle to work scheme. Has any one had any experience with them and anything to look out for? Was also looking at the cannondale ss they have out at the moment. Any advantage from either spec? What would be the better one to get?

Not much spec on either, guess it depends whether you want aluminium or steel, hydraulic or cable brakes.
All a bit spartan for me.
