What BB type is a SM BB9141?
My Scott CR1 came with a DA crank and Shimano BB9141 BB. I'm looking at swapping to a power meter and trying to work out what type of BB standard this BB9141 actually is? I know its for a 91mmx41mm BB but what does this equate to in standards?
Looking at the compatibility lists I see BB386, BB90, BB92 (MTB), BB89 and BB86. I'm getting confused so would appreciate some advice/clarity.
Thanks

It is a Hollowtech 2 fitment crank. Imagine it as a push fit HT2 bottom bracket. The outer edges of the bb shell are the same position as the outer edges of the screw in cups of a hollowtech 2 bb.0

It's a BB86. BB9141 is the part number. That's a Shimano press fit BB. 41 is the OD and 91 is just the model series for Dura-Ace. You can get a BB7141 which is the Ultegra version.
If you measure the BB shell of your frame it should be 86mm
Any Shimano crankset will fit fine. You can fit a SRAM crank but you'll need to change the BB.0 -
As above, it's a PressFit BB86. Though Shimano call it BB91, not BB86. The 91 doesn't refer to the Dura-Ace model number in this case.0

Yep, press fit BB86, same as in my Litening.

Correction, the BB71 is an Ultegra/XT spec version. The BB7141A is the MTB BB and the BB7141B is the Road BB
The BB91 is the Dura-Ace/XTR spec version (costs £10 more). The BB9141A is the MTB version, and the BB9141B is the Road version. They also do a BB9142A which is an MTB version, however for BB shells with a 42mm shell OD.
I know this, because I sell these all day long.
If you look at the product code on the link you provided, you'll see it finishes with an A.0 -

As above, the 91 does indicate the Dura-Ace model number.0 -

I've always associated BB86/91 with road shells and BB71 with MTB and would have expected the model numbers to match up.0
