I would like to buy a set of fulcrum wheels are there any that are compatible with a shimano 9 speed cassette? Or what are a good set of wheels to upgrade my bike with?

Just put fulcrum racing 7''s. on my 9speed shimano, brilliant. What a difference they make to the standard wheels.

The majority of wheels come with an 8/9/10 speed freehub as standard. This allows you to fit all those speed cassettes with the relevant spacers (if required).

Shimano have now got 11 speed hubs (on the 9000 range I think) but this is not yet common place across manufacurers.

    i have the Racing 5's with a 9 speed.

if you buy the 10/11s hub model (i'm shimano btw) it will come with a spacer that adapts the hub to take a 9 speed cassette.
  • Thanks guys I bought the fulcrum 5 they came with a spacer they are great wheels.
