A creak but where?

While out riding today i noticed that the bikes making a creaking noise while i peddle. To be honest, it's been doing it for a few weeks, but today just seemed louder. I think its coming from the BB but not sure. How can i tell (someone suggested seat post, but it creaks when i'm out the seat) and is it is the BB what s it likley to be? Just a grease or repalcement? or something else?

If it's a hollowtech bottom bracket, try ptfe tape (plumbers tape) on the threads of the bb. Worked for me. Just done my mates road bike
