Spoke nipple keeps loosening
I have a problem spoke on my rear wheel. I've previously posted about it here.
Basically the spoke nipple loosened causing the wheel to go badly out of true. I paid Cyclesurgery £15 to true it and it was fine for 2 weeks commuting but the exact same spoke nipple has now come loose again. I have hand tightened it for now and will get the nipple wrench on it when I get home.
The wheel is an Easton EA30 with 12 spokes on the driveside and 12 on the non-driveside. It's laced half-radially. The non-driveside spokes (including the problem spoke) are radial and the driveside spokes are cross 2 laced.
Forgive me if my terminology is wrong - I'm new to this and have been reading up to see if there is an obvious remedy for my problem.
I've read on Sheldon that radially laced nipples are more prone to loosening themselves on the road because the nipples point straight inwards from the rim whereas semi-tangent spoke nipples point in at a slight angle. The solution to this is to loctite the nipple and to never lubricate the nipples of radially laced spokes.
I think I will give this a try to see if it resolves the problem but I know there are experienced wheelbuilders on the forum so I wanted to hear their opinions before I proceed.

PS. I hope at 85 kg I'm not too heavy for these wheels!

Strange as you have the opposite problem to most.
Often people come on here with woes of seized nipples (meaning they can not true the wheel).
A 24 spoke rear wheel is not exactly what I would have chosen for someone of 85kg, but that is somewhat academic if you can not secure the offending nipple and keep the wheel true.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
nipple freeze may help but also the wheel maybe under tensioned. The last E30 rear wheel I rebuilt I did 2x both sides to avoid this same problem coming back on me.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
