Actually spent it at the National Rail Museum in York.
Wasn't keen on going really, thought it would be full of train spotters, but I was pleasantly surprised. . There was more to see there than I imagined.
Am sure you would have enjoyed it, had you not been filling your face at a barbie, thousands of miles away.0 -
We,ve been independent for years, with a bit of help from here and there.Tail end Charlie

Independence Day is the day after my wedding anniversary, bit ironic really!!"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

Totally awesome dude!
Well, that's what I've learnt from working for an American company. Had some bourbon to celebrate it*.
*Although quite possibly I often drink bourbon anyway0 -
Happy Independence Day to you lot west of Cornwall Hope your weather's as glorious as it is here, and that there's copious riding*, barbecuing, and general merriment going on.
Okay, so we lost the war (bloody French again), but I don't really blame you for wanting shot of us. We're an odd lot. That said, I have a lovely pint of Spitfire here - not Mustang or Corsair - so we've still got some dignity!
* Both in the sense of cycling and wild, athletic sex with the one you love.Mangeur0 -

It was great until the white house got blown up! The aliens apologized and paid for the damage though. A mistake with one of the fireworks apparently0
