    Injured in theatre eh?
Sat wondering how someone over on road general will use that in an argument to justify not wearing a helmet.

Was an outdoor thing, and way better than I expected in advance (theatre isn't usually my thing) . The downside of outdoor was sitting about sans chair. Gave the knee a good twist n' load when getting up and it really doesn't like that.

It's fair to say that a helmet wouldn't have prevented this, and the extra couple of grams on the head would have increased the load when I stood up. I certainly wouldn't advocate the wearing of cycle helmets whilst watching a play unless it's a cycling-theatre combo event, in which case a lid's going to be a sound plan.

For those who couldn't get out in the sun today at least you won't have "cyclists arm"

This is the condition whereby the lower section of your arm is brown, then there is a clearly defined circle where your sleeve ends and the upper half is white. I am "suffering from this condition tonight.

I wonder if people who are bald / shave their heads get patterns on their heads through the slats in cycling helmets?

I got it back in June, however mine is slightly different. I've got the obvious line where the jersey sleeves end, but also, the inside of my forearms are still milk bottle white.

I also wear a cap, as I'm a baldie slaphead, to avoid vent tan.
