SCR Summer Drinks at The Roebuck

Riding around Richmond Park in the sunshine and naturally enough thoughts turned to beers at the Roebuck. So who's in and when? Do we want a Saturday or a Sunday? I'm away from the 24th of July so obviously think we should go before that. I've only put July down for now.
Last time Simon AH made it from Wales, never to be heard from again, and dragged Redvee along and Rolf made a special trip all the way from Yorkshire. Can that be beaten?

To be fair Richmond Park is mamil central plus well steve started the thread and RP is close for him and myself...0 -
Yes, lots of people head to Richmond Park with their bikes so it kind of makes sense in that respect. It's a nice pub with a good selection of ales and there is plenty of space outside for blokes on bikes with a great view. Quite a few of us live over that way. But as Roger says most importantly it's close to me so I can have a skinfull and fall through the park on an off road path to get home afterwards.
Give it a go, you might enjoy it.0 -
The only two days I can play are 20/21st cause of working on the rest of the days suggested but now I'm pootling along the Great Weston Ride on 21st. In the words of Theo ''I'm out!'I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I've voted for the 27th/28th but appear to be the only one! Doing the Dunwich Dynamo on the weekend of the 20th so that's defo out, and this weekend too busy. Hope to see some of you anyway..........Raymondo

28th best for me! Richmond Park as ever, not ideal....Do not write below this line. Office use only.0

I'm in for 20/21st
For those complaining about the location - nothing to stop you organising another event at your preferred venue...Pannier, 120rpm.0 -

Hopefully I'll make one of them. Not drinking though, in "training" for London ride 100... 9lbs lost this month so far due mainly to giving up Alchol but also a stomach virus which was good for 3lbs....--

Erm, I would, only I shredded it a bit by taking a dive on an Alpine descent on Sunday!0 -

Well the highest number of votes are for the 20th, but it's only 4 votes. Should we? Or would people rather do it another day?0

I'd be happy to go though no point if any one else isn't 2.45pm is my earliest though as have to work that day.0 -
Not for me I'm affriad, morning is a London Ride 100 traing ride, with an early start, followed by Lambeth County Show in Brockwell Park. Plus I'm not drinking until about 5pm on Sunday 4th August.... A date in August would work better for me.--

I'd like to join you, but realistically I think it's unlikely I'll be able0

I think we should wait until August by the looks of it. Preferably the latter half for me, but certainly after Sketchley is back on the booze. He should be thirsty as hell by then. Does somebody want to start a new thread with possible dates as I won't be around?0

I did it this year - no the bar isn't included. Yes it was worth it, and I've signed up for next year too. What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?0 -
