Getting back from a broken collarbone

Hey. Broke my first bone ever, a month ago. A straightforward clavicle fracture (in the middle, no separation, no surgery). Got another week and a half in the sling to make it six weeks total and then I can apparently get back to business.

Anyone got any advice about how to go about it? I'm gonna make some physio appointments and the guy I use is a mountain biker so I'm sure he'll tell me, but meanwhile I'm just wondering how long it'll likely take before I'm shreddin' the gnar, etc, or if I have a month of being cagey to look forward to. Probably most of that's in the mind anyway, but you know what I mean, right?

Just try to be careful at first. Don't force yourself too much, don't lift heavy weights and avoid making too much effort. It could get worse, although it shouldn't. Take it easy for a week or two and when you feel like you can go nuts on it, do it. It's totally up to you, but I wouldn't shoot the mountain straight away.
