I've just bought a Specialized Bighit 1, 2nd hand which has a 2008 Marzocchi Z1 Sports fork. I wanted to buy some fork oil and change the oil in my forks. I've trawled through the Internet, I can find a 2007 'Owenrs Manual' for the Z1 sport, but this only covers the set up, it does not cover any dissembly, oil specification or oil volumes.
For Info, the forks are sprung with air assist on the Right Hand, with a Rebound damping control on the Left Hand. No other external controls
Therefore I need a Service manual or at least this info;
* Oil grade.
* Oil volumes per leg.
* Guide on how to adjust the compression damping (is this internal , if so what size/length hex do I need?)
Can anyone hlep?? Manythanks James

why trawl the net? why not just go to Marzs webby?
http://www.marzocchi.com/template/conte ... Folder=777
you will find out the size when you strip it down."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Great that's very helpful.
Does anyone know whether I can expect to find the compression adjustment adjustable and inside the fork, or whether there will be no adjustment offered?
Thank you , James0 -
Here's some 2006 Z1 Sport Service Manuals, they would probably be very similar to your fork.
