Brake inserts - Canti's
I've got a tri cross with (quite frankly) shocking brakes ... they've done up to now, but the pads now need replacing and I'd like to replace with something that will hopefully give a bit of braking.
I'm struggling to find suitable canti inserts on the wiggle site - searching for Canti turns up 3 unsuitable products ... !
Anyway - I think I either want swissstop or kool-stop inserts - if they're available ... can I use the V brake inserts? Wheels are either Fulcrum Racing T's (with slicks - as pictured) or stock wheels (with knobblies) - ie metal rims.
Sorry for the state of the bike - the roads were wet this morning.
TIA

They look like Tektro 720 brakes with 72mm 876.12 pads if so, the KoolStop V type fit OK.Neil

The reason for your spongy brakes is likely the length/angle of your straddle wire. A good rule is the "two-fingers" width between the top of the tyre and the straddle hanger or 90 degree angle of the wire at the hanger.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
