Morning Losers!

Today more of the same really. I have to take my Temporary Minion on the induction tour  fun times.

After work, I'm visiting ex-Minion at her house, so I can finally see the damn place after hearing about it for so long.

Looks like it's going to be an exciting day.

Laters!

    Mornin' Bags of Mostly Water,

Last night took an interesting turn as a friend came around and again showed me humanitys brighter side. I know some very good people..

Anyhoo, back to the bitterness. Myself and the insurance comapny parted company last night as they're being cnuts and don't seem to want to pay out for anything. Again, I say cnuts. Time to leave some *-**** staff in the usual with the necessaries on appropriately.

Today I shall be taking out my vast rage on innocent slabs of steel in the name of 'Science!' (the exclamation mark is important).

Onwards! To coffee! Because what I need is a caffiene buzz and a mahoosive laser!
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Disclaimer: Opinions expressed herein are worth exactly what you paid for them.

    Midweek greetings Maggots.

The joys of having a coffee shop at the service station en route to work ensures I kick the day off with a cappuccino.
Today's cappuccino is helping wash down "Marmite Cheese Spread" sandwiches, yes, in this part of the planet, they produce Marmite cheese spread :o)

It's warming up here, but I shall not be fooled as last July/August was freezing and we were 'blessed' with snow last August too.
If you think England can be crippled by snow, you have to see Africa. The locals stand in the middle of the road with bowls and shout "it's raining ice cream"

Let me get this day on the go...

Today will consist mainly of nothing much. I have a few things to do but I plan to spread them out across the day to always appear busy.

In an unusual twist, the company have agreed to recruit a second minion. I still have no start date for the first minion but I believe things are moving in the right direction.

    Nothing much else to report.

    Later……

no ride last night as I still hadn't got around to fixing the broken and loose spokes and it started to hammer down so CBA to slde down the mountain on the DH bike

Clank - time for pulp fiction style revenge

Today is working from home, so instead of an hour in the car I had half an hour on the turbo trainer and breakfast with the family -cashback

After a day of excel and PowerPoint I shall venture forth on a bike in a lame attempt to stop visiting the pub in the week :(

Today is The Meeting, so I'm covering the phones this morning. Joy. Good thing is I can procrastinate a bit more than normal.

I just found a stash of cake I put in my drawer last night. Totally forgot about it. Win.
Date night tonight, last one for a while as The Industry Boyfriend is off to France for a week to do the Mega. And then I'm busy with The Show and The Event. Anyone fancy taking part in The Event? http://www.twentyfour12.com/
Or in fact coming to The Show? https://www.planningpoint.net/V2/Registrations/index.cfm?EventID=2071

    Morning Scuttlers

Late finish followed by a gymnasium session last night so the last think I wanted was to be awoken at 8.30 by a man from a skip hire company informing me that if my landlord didn't pay up hed be emptying the contents all over my rear entrance. Add to this my mortgage company being rob dogs its been a bit P.I.T.A the last couple of days.

I sh@t myself yesterday when I got into work and was standing in the lobby of Cardiff Central when a large picture of Kaise flashed up on the advertising hoardings, but seems they have managed to get a deal to advertise cma/Kaiser challenge, which, I know we are begging money for the crudcatcher challenge too, but if you can, slip a few quid in at http://www.thekaiserchallenge.com, representing this year are myself, Muttly, El Cap and if I remember righly VW.

anyway, get dressed and off to work time now, tarrah sexy people

Didn't see you in the gym last night Gaz. I went as was in a foul mood and needed to snap out of it. It's probably not a good thing that my right hip and knee feel like something isn't right when I am running, although the bruises on them are still mahoosive so this could be part of the problem.

Work today. PTB are being a massive pain in the derriere and nagging about stuff. When she flashed the 'I can sack you at anytime' card yesterday, I flashed the 'my sister's an employment solicitor in the city, try it and your company will no longer exist' card back. She can bite me. I earn this firm the most money and have been here for years so she wouldn't dare but when she is in a bad mood she takes it out on people around her. Her and the hubby have been arguing so she brings it into work for us all to share.

Bridezilla is still bridezilla-ing. Which is fun.

    Hola,

free lunch today.. Lasagnia which is edible.

Working on my quarter end for VAT :( EC sales lists and all that awful jazz.. the numbers are just to big to actually mean anything.

On other things of note should ride later, and patiently waiting on new home stuff.

Was hoping to be out on nukeproof tonight on it's maiden voyage, but alas my builds progress has been hampered by especially reticent X0 crank. The fecker just will not come off, so it's off up the valleys this eve to visit my mate and his well stocked garage to finish the build. Then I can hopefully ride tomorrow eve and run around like a headless chicken getting stuff ready for the mondraker gravity rally at the weekend. Ah well.

No one here actually rides bikes, we just talk about them whilst getting H'd on a school night.

Managed to avoid the pub on Monday by cycling to work (home at 8pm), last night by going into the garage and doing 20 miles on the turbo - I'm getting better.......

    Fridays, Saturday's and Sunday's don't count :)

The kids would've lost if they didn't visit the pub at the w.end - I would also be richer as kids drinks and snacks are ferkin expensive

Miss CMC I saw you and I must say you're quite the expert with that loofah, I mean don't ask how I got in the ladies showers.

I kid you of course I didn't get in there until gone midnight as I'd spent the night transporting the great unwashed around

I couldn't hack those turbo things - would drive me to drink...suppose you could go on the turbo and drink at the same time? That would be combining two of my three favourite passtimes.

I actually use rollers as it does keep you interested and stops the mind wandering too far. Sufferfest videos are you friend (shite proper advice - is that against the rules)?

damm right - it's the holiday start the night drink (ignoring any day time participation) as I always buy a bottle in duty free & the current wife buys gin
