Wall mounted bike storage

Hi,
Does anyone have experience of storing the bike on wall mounts? If so I'd be grateful for any advice on which is the best type to use.
Space is limited so I was thinking of a wall mount that allows the bike to be hung horizontally?
Does such a thing exist?
Thanks!
Kev

I have one of these which works well for keeping my bike in a spare room.

You could try this:

Currently available more cheaply from Wiggle (£49) than direct (£59).
Not the cheapest around but I've seen it in action and it's a stylish way to hang a bike.

Splashed out on the topeak dual-touch stand as I didn't want to drill anything into the walls..

Cheaper alternatives are available..

I've got one of these. Not the prettiest, but quite cheap and will hold 2 bikes safely!

I just use a (disused) bike carrier that straps onto a boot ... put a hook plate into the wall and hang the carrier on that.0
