SS/Fixie Choice

Hello Again. Following on from the wheel building thread I now would like some advice on bike/frame choice. Bear in mind I LOVE building up nice custom bikes.
Choices:
Langster 2nd Hand £300 fully built
Fuji Track Fully Built
On One pomino (disc model) built up with fixed disc wheels and spare bits I have lying around.
I want to use it for training and rides with the wife. I am coming from a commuting and road racing background so I like speed and ride quite hard.
Any advice welcome, I must have overlooked some options.

Get a frame if you like building bikes?
If your buying a whole bike guess what type of bars? Drops/flat/bull etc.
I have a fugi track which I find a fast comftable ride, did 121 miles on Sunday doing the capital to coast and then back.0 -
You can use almost anything. My SS is a late 90s Peugeot 753 steel frame.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX0 -
anything...
I have a mid 90's mtb with 700c wheels as my town s/s - truly wacky races..0 -
IF you want to run disk brakes front and rear then you'll need a disk frame & fork.
For £99, you can't go wrong:

If you want to build a 'proper' winter ride that takes full guards I narrowed it down to the following..
On-One Pompino
Tokyo Fixed Dream Machine
Pearson Once More
Condor Tempo0 -
Any Idea of the weight difference between the pomino and the Fuji?
Pompino F+F 3kg
Gears and stuff 1kg
Finishing bits 1.5kg
Wheels 1.7KG
Tyres 1KG
Looking at around 8kg ? Is that realistic?0 -
I'm running an on-one pompetamine, flat bar + discs + ss.
For the price it's great, but be careful, it handled like a dog (just didn't want to turn) when I had some existing spare forks on it. I switched to the on-one / planet-x forks, and now it goes where I point it.
I don't find it that light mind, but I guess that's just because it's steel.
Also, I did prefer my previous RoadRat, just felt a bit more lively.
Having said that, I commute on it 12miles each way, I keep up a good pace, it does get knackering with all the start / stop at lights, but I think that's a good thing (training right...). You would probably save some weight if you didn't have discs and went for a lighter wheelset.0
