I thought I'd get this one in first. :wink:

The last stage in Paris this year, will be run in the evening. Estimated finish time 21.45 hours.

MON DIEU! C'est incroyable! Quelle horreur! :shock: :!:

We're going to follow these guys for three breathless weeks and then have to wait until NEARLY TEN AT NIGHT to see the finish! C'est stupide!

PAH. :cry::(

    It'll all be worth it for that now obligatory side-on tracking shot of Cavendish torching everybody at the finish at dusk - with a million camera flashes bouncing off his new teeth, chromed Venge and the national champs jersey (or green jersey, if you're a wishful thinker)...

    And also they are going all the way round the Arc de Triomphe, with the extra challenge that the traffic wont actually be stopped.

    I may have made some of that up

    It's a good thing. Gives me more time to get there from Annecy. :D

    Good news as I'm at a festival that weekend and it gives me time to get back and curl up on the sofa feeling sorry for myself

    Perfect, the kids will be tucked up in bed and I can watch it in peace :)

    In reality I did actually consider taking the family to Paris to watch the last stage but the practicalities made me think better of it.
