Yes this is a " which bike should i buy" question ....sorry

aware they are not really comparable frames, i have ridden both, albeit short rides .....
i ride long and at a reasonable pace and am coming from carbon, i need comfort.

i have a budget and actually am liking both frames and would rather not spend £900 however ride is very nice for the Ritchey and the headtube beiing slightly taller is also a plus.

anyway would appreciate thoughts and comments and if anyone has one or other bike or has ridden both then a comparison would be useful

cheers

  • Pondering both also, did you make a decision or get any feedback on this?

Nice, I assume since you only posted the original thread on the first you have not had a chance to ride it yet?

sorry for my previous, limited response, not actually pulled the trigger but def decided on the ritchey. I have ridden one and it was very nice, smooth, had a light / sprightly feeling and super comfortable.

i have ridden carbon frames and was struggling not just to buy another carbon frame until i tride this. i actually have a new £1300 CR1 Pro frameset that i am going to return as i feel the Ritchey will be more suitable ...

Ritchey - great handling bikes from one of the great names in bike frame design. I had a Ritchey road frame and currently have a P29er which is another modern classic. The name has more cache too - Genesis is just the in-house brand for Madison cycles
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
