Hello!

I live in NYC, and just moved into a new neighborhood. I am looking for a cycling app for my iPhone with a GPS that announces directions. And of course, which has bike routes in it.

I looked for cycling apps, and it looks like the only announcements they do are coaching, heart beats, distance, ... It doesn't say anything about giving directions.

I don't like to constantly have to look down at my phone with the traffic around me. It's not really safe.

Any advices?

Thank you!

  • Google maps does cycling directions now. I've used it (bit ropey in the UK) but it works. If you switch to navigate it will give voice guidance of the route.

    Hi,

Do you know Tracklander? I ´m from Spain and I´ve discovered it one month ago. It´s really good because they are offering tracks and pictures in crossings. It´s something different and it´s pretty fun to travel with this app. You can check in tracklander.com and App Store

They don´t have a lot of routes but I wrote them and they told me that they are working on more...

    Regards!
