Off to Samoens in August. Does anyone know of a local bike hire shop for both road bikes and the dark side MTBs?

Apologies that I cant remember the name of the shop, but there is a ski shop in winter that does a big range of Scott bikes. We hired basic bikes with a kids seat from them before. If you cant find them, Les Gets (I hired a road bike from a place just off the square opposite the K2 snack bar) or Morzine has places. Could can drive over the Joux Plane and recce it to get to Morzine for a bike.0

Found the place!
To hire road bikes we recommend Anthonioz Sport (0033 (0)4 50 34 93 67) who have some excellent bikes - an example would be the Scott carbon CR1 Team, rented by the day at approximately 30.50 Euros. Alps Accommodation guests receive a discount so mention us when hiring your bike! - See more at: http://www.alpsaccommodation.com/road-b ... OZGiB.dpuf

Samoens is great, less commercial than the likes of Morzine and Les Gets although I believe it now also has chair lifts up into the mountains too
We always used to take our own bikes so not sure on hiring really but I think lots of the ski places do bike hire in the summer.
Mountain bike wise the main areas will be the Portes du Soleil area, places like Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz etc, some of the riding there is mental
Where ever you ride though it's going to be stunning, I could quite happily live there 8)"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"
