It doesn't get as much use as it should as i'm more of a roadie but I thought i'd post it anyway.....

Not bad but please loose the bar ends! And ride it more!
I got a road bike recently. Road cycling is just like mountain biking but with none of the fun.

+1 against the bar ends. Got a roadie friend in work who has them on his Scott mtb. He says he likes to lean on them. Reminds him of being on his tri bars on his tt bike. But then he don't use his mtb for off road much.

Used to like bar ends, prefer risers these days. Never been a fan of massive bar ends like that, they're too upright (should be the same angle as the stem) and they look like they may be on a riser anyway, which is a big no no ;-)

Ok, didn't realise bar ends were a no no these days i'll loose them and i must admit from the photo they do look pretty butt ugly!

As for using it more I imagine I will be seeing as the son recently got a Cube Analog 29er.

Dont forget to remove the pie dish from behind the cassette as well. And then there's the outer chain ring, useless off road.
Your bike will be a kilo lighter in no time!

And if those are OE conti's you'll want something without the friction coefficient of ice.....that's over 1Kg saved I reckon!

NIce! There is one of these frames for sale on Pinkbike but it is orange
What does it ride like? Does it bob much when pedalling?

The bushes had a healthy amount of stiction, so bobbing wasn't too much of an issue!

Rides nice, seems to take most things in its stride, it rides well on the road with no problems bobbing or not that's particularly noticeable anyway.
