Hi
Is it possible to convert Xero Lite XR-1 9 speed rear wheel to 10 speed.
I bought these wheels a few years ago and have got back into cycling but these do not fit my 10 speed Trek 5200.
They're basically brand new but as they're 9 speed compatible can't imagine i'd get much on ebay.
Any advice/help much appreciated.
Cheers

Most 10-speed cassettes have the same spline pattern as 9-speed.
EDIT: Shimano / SRAM, that is.- - - - - - - - - -

If the freehub takes a 9 speed Shiamno/SRAM cassette, it will take a 10 speed too. The 9 speed is actually wider than the 10 speedleft the forum March 20230

Many thanks for the replies.
The problem is that the hub axle spindle is too wide to fit within the rear triangle.
Sorry if i didn't make this clear.0 -
Really?! That would only be the case if it was a MTB hub. Or if your Trek frame is bent.
Road rear hubs have been 130mm O.L.D. for yonks and yonks. MTB are 135mm.- - - - - - - - - -
