Of course. After all, it's just 'banter' & 'a bit of fun'...isn't it?

ffs... yes, Thomas is British (and?) but he's got Leipheimer syndrome ... wherever the crash is he'll find it! ... so he's fair game in the pisstake sweepstakes ...

If he ends up in hospital with a few bumps and bruises so what? ... If he was on life support or something then maybe it's time to monitor the japery ...

I thought it was hilarious seeing him hobble into his hotel on the ITV highlights this evening  :?

Don't fret, Rob, it's just a bit of 'japery'. Oh, my aching sides....

    Very well said...

    Lighten up people!

Heres some old footage of a young Geraint, clearly showing his talent at a young age...

Given the number of 'home' riders is dwindling by the second, do we think Thomas will even make it to France?

Six Grand Tours, six finishes. One as a neo pro. One with a hip fracture. My guess is yes.

It's day in the sun will come. Likely Sunday given the weather forecast.

    That didn't take long.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

To be fair people do crack jokes about mates who crash and sustain injuries worse than those Geraint has sustained, we've actually got a club award for the worst crash injury - I've even won it - though I do sometimes wonder what happens if someone dies or has seriously life changing injury.
