Snowdonia

I'm heading out for a couple of days riding in Snowdonia next week and wondered whether anyone could recommend some routes worth taking. Am planning on using Betws-y-Coed as a base and doing a couple of 50+ mile rides. I want to keep the busy road riding to a minimum but don't mind a few miles on the A roads if it gets me somewhere inspiring. Suggestions please.

either way from betws to Porthmadog is approx 50, although mainly on A roads -betws -capel curig -beddgelert nantmor -rhyd -Blaenau over the crimea down to dolwyddelan -or go clockwise. or go betws on the A5 to Pentrefoelas and turn for Denbigh -then back to Llanrwst via Llansannan -

I live in Porthmadog -let me know if you need info
