My current tyres are 26 2.20 Geax Saguaro on my MTB.
What is the lowest size I could buy to replace them, I am looking at a set of 26 1 1/2 Schwalbe Marathon Racer' for a work commute and weekend rides.
Would the be ok or too small in width, would the 26 1.75 be better?
I am not sure on the width of my current wheels. I am sure they are Jalco Dorble Wall.

Read ths technical document from Schwalbe. Shows, amongst other things, which tyre sizes fit which rim sizes.

Thanks had a look at my wheel trims and the schwalbe guides.
My trims are 559x16c.
The tyres I'm looking at 40-559.
Looking at the guide it says the minimum for a 40 is a 17c trim.
Having said that it does not show a 16c in their guide, it jumps in twos.0
